Skin Tone
If you don't know whether you have a warm or a cool skin tone then there is a simple way to find out.
In daylight look at the veins in your forearms, if the veins are more green than blue, you would be classed as warm skin toned (the blue veins coming through warm skin tones will create a green tone). If these veins look blue then you would be classed as having a cool skin tone.
Don't forget there are also lots of hair colours which are neutral and can suit either a warm or a cool skin tone. These tend to be more natural and subtle colours with no major tones in them. To get the best colour for your skin tone visit a salon and ask them if they will determine your skin tone before choosing a colour for you.
Also you would tend to go for gold jewellery rather than silver as the gold will compliment your skin tone. You may also tend to go for silver jewellery as this will suit your skin tone better than gold. Skin with blue or olive undertones are also classed as cool. Warm Skin Tone
If you have a warm skin tone then you generally tend to go more of a golden colour when tanning in the sun, and can sometimes come out in freckles.
Cool Skin Tone
If you have a cool skin tone then you tend to go more of a pink or red colour when tanning in the sun.
